Terms and Conditions

Effective date: [October 15, 2026]

This website is operated by Modern Alchemy Mental Health and Wellness, PLLC (“Modern Alchemy,” “the practice,” “I,” or “me”). These Terms of Use explain the conditions for using this website.

Purpose of this website

This website provides general information about my practice, psychotherapy services, and topics related to mental health, personal growth, and spirituality. Its content is educational and informational.

Website information does not constitute individualized assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice.

Establishing a therapeutic relationship

Visiting this website, reading its content, sending an inquiry, or requesting an appointment does not establish a therapist–client relationship.

A therapeutic relationship begins after I agree to provide services and the required intake and informed consent processes have been completed.

Availability and eligibility for services

Services are subject to availability, clinical appropriateness, and applicable licensing requirements. For telehealth appointments, eligibility depends in part on your physical location at the time of the session.

A consultation or appointment request does not guarantee acceptance as a client.

Emergencies and urgent concerns

This website, its contact forms, and practice email are not emergency services and are not continuously monitored.

If you are experiencing an immediate emergency or cannot remain safe, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a response through this website.

Appropriate use

You agree to use this website lawfully and respectfully. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with website operations, introduce malicious software, impersonate another person, or submit information you do not have permission to share.

Ownership and use of content

Unless otherwise credited, original website text, graphics, and other materials belong to Modern Alchemy or are used with permission.

You may view, print, or download materials for personal, noncommercial use, retaining any attribution or copyright notices. Other uses require written permission unless otherwise permitted by law.

Third-party names, materials, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

External links

This website may link to research, professional organizations, educational resources, and outside services. These links are provided for convenience and further exploration.

I do not control external websites or their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement of every statement, product, or service on that website.

Accuracy and website availability

I make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current. However, website content may contain errors or become outdated, and uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Please contact the practice to confirm current availability, fees, insurance participation, and service details.

Scope of these terms

These terms govern website use. Clinical services are governed by separate informed consent documents, practice policies, financial agreements, and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms waives your legal rights or limits the practice’s professional obligations.

Updates

These terms may be revised as the website or practice changes. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

Website Disclaimer

Effective date: [October 15, 2026]

Information and education

The information on this website is intended to help you learn about my practice and explore topics related to mental health, healing, and personal growth.

It is not a substitute for individualized psychotherapy, medical care, psychiatric care, or other professional services. Please consult an appropriately qualified professional about your particular circumstances. Do not delay needed care because of something you read on this website.

No therapeutic relationship through website use

Reading website content, using educational resources, or contacting the practice does not establish a therapist–client relationship.

Psychotherapy begins only after we have agreed to work together and completed the required intake and informed consent processes.

Individual experiences and outcomes

Psychotherapy is an individualized process. Your experiences, needs, goals, circumstances, and response to treatment help shape our work together.

Descriptions of therapeutic methods, potential benefits, or personal growth are not promises of a particular result. No treatment outcome can be guaranteed.

Spirituality and symbolic practices

My approach respects the role that spirituality, culture, personal beliefs, and meaning may play in your life. When relevant to your goals and requested or welcomed by you, our work may include discussion of spiritual experiences or symbolic tools such as tarot and astrology.

These tools may support reflection, exploration, and meaning-making. They are not diagnostic instruments, do not establish facts about other people or future events, and do not replace clinical assessment or appropriate treatment.

The research supporting psychotherapy methods varies. Including a spiritual or symbolic practice does not mean it has the same evidence base as an established clinical treatment.

You are never required to share my beliefs or participate in spiritual or symbolic practices to receive care. You may decline or discontinue their use.

Research and outside resources

Research links and educational materials are provided for further learning. Individual studies have limitations, and the inclusion of a resource does not mean that its findings apply to everyone or that I endorse every conclusion it presents.

Online communication

Contact forms and ordinary email may carry privacy risks. Please limit initial inquiries to basic contact information and general questions about services. Avoid sending detailed clinical histories, medical records, or other sensitive information through ordinary website forms or email.

These communication channels are not continuously monitored.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing an immediate emergency or cannot remain safe, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use this website or wait for an email response to obtain emergency assistance.
